Privacy policy.
How matchstickchina.com handles website requests, personal planning drafts and information you choose to send by email.
Your planning information.
The trip planner creates a personal draft in your browser. Your answers are not submitted to our server or stored in a customer database. Downloaded drafts remain on your device; unsaved answers may be lost when you leave or refresh the page. Creating a draft does not make a booking.
Searches and destination filters appear in the page URL. Web requests transmit technical information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers to the hosting infrastructure. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, customer accounts, online payments or a visitor CRM on this website.
Email and external services.
If you choose to email Matchstick China, your message and any attachments are handled by the email services used to deliver and receive them. Send only information you are comfortable sharing. Email links open your own email application; attribution and licence links lead to external websites. Their providers apply their own privacy practices.
Website operation and privacy contact.
The website is hosted on a Hostinger VPS. Hosting and security systems may record technical request information to operate and protect the service. Website administration uses a necessary login-session cookie lasting up to 24 hours, and stores administrator accounts, website content, images and their backups. This cookie is used for administrator login rather than visitor tracking. For privacy questions, or to request correction or deletion of information you sent by email, contact hello@matchstickchina.com.
